I am typing this for pure fun...... yeah its true pure fun.
ok for those who dunno or pretend to not know, we got second for class interhouse soccer. as for basketball, it flooded, as in the place is flooded becuz of heavy rain, well i dunno actually because i never go because i went for training, and dam there is a pop up profiency test. anyway back to the point, heavy rain no game.so whatever interhouse, lets play our best to win!!!! (even if u dun is u not me)

Monday we didn't get to have PE cos of the briefing on H1N1.....where sadly half of it got muddled in my brain along with recipes for chocolate buns and sketches for my stories.
Recess~.
After recess, we had MATHS.
Then double Science, which was spent on e-learning cos Miss Chew(our new science teacher-she's numero three-oh) was on LOA.
MTL after that.....aaand then English.

CCA- postponed until further notice, 'cept for the UGs.

Tuesday, was IAP! Art and Drama now, wheeee~.
Recess.
Geo Miss Lim was on medical leave. So we had SSRP!
Followed by English.
Then Maths~.
Last period was Chinese- it's the same every Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY
Double EL, we did some discussions on fables.
(Never knew real-time animosity could be translated into story-time material. Lawls)
Followed by Science, where we met Miss Chew for the 1st time!

Then our very 1st D&T lesson! Yeeeah~. I do enjoy technology, so I don't find it that boring. (:

This is the updated painting schedule:
2nd June 2009- 1pm, Whitewashing. Mei Choo will take charge until I arrive at about 2pm.
3pm Noticeboard decorating. Eddy and Sherman are in charge.
4th June 2009- 11am, Wendy and I will draw and start on the painting. I will have to leave at around noon.
5th June 2009- 3pm, will finish up the painting.

Those who can make it to help out, bring along your paintbrushes.

Time for the UPDDAAATTEEEE.

Monday:
Let's see......Home Econs first 2 periods, then recess.....after that we had Lit, followed by ICT(where we did a survey...thing), then MT, then English and finally.....GEOGRAPHY.

Tuesday:
Glorious Tuesday. -shot-
Lit, English, History(went to the heritage gallery), recess, Maths, Science(went to the science lab to do an experiment on oscillations) and finally MT.
Fu Lao Shi wasn't around, so we slacked.
Then the Class Comm people had to attend a leadership workshop in order to facilitate....painting the classrooms.
I got home at SEVEN.
(insert rude word)

Wed:
SPOT CHECK.
Ten out of fourteen, two out of twenty-six.
Ah well.
IAP was spent watching videos and being sarcastic.
I particularly liked 'Les Choristes'.
After recess, Miss Chan was on medical leave, so I arranged the painting details with the class.
During english, we played Taboo and pictionary.
I am officially banned from playing.
After that was assembly, followed by the healthzone trip.
Eddy, Mei Choo, Luo Zhi, Balraj, be glad you weren't there. It wasn't particularly interesting.

THU
Read newspaper.
Then we had PW(History in disguise), where Mr Ong came in and sent Terence for a haircut.
Following that was English, where we played more taboo.

During the last ten minutes of Maths Sherman was polishing his boots and the area reeked of Kiwi.
RECESS.
Then MT, then Science(an experiment on convection was conducted) and lastly.....
CLASSROOM CLEANING.
Elyssa is the top in class, followed by Mei Choo & Sharone.
CONGRATS TO THEM (:
And congrats to Ang Owen, for being the top boy.

The classroom is really quite dirty.

After that I attended the Councillor's Investiture(did I spell that correctly?) and from my memory...
Eddy is in AMKsian Spirit Committee. Suitable, eh?
Luo Zhi is in the Care Committee. Don't giggle.
Mei Choo and Balraj are in the 'I-Committee', which in refers to the general matters in the Council.
I will report on it......eventually.

And I just realised that CDP and Deputy CDP Chairperson like very free leh.....cos the two Chairmans got duties, and EA and DEA got the recycling and stuff like that......

What exactly do the CDP people do?
Interesting question.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY was Parent-Teacher-Conference, with the invisible 'Student' somewhere inbetween.

LAWls, the holidays have started.

Will post the list of Holiday HW in the last week so that the people can 'cheong' like xiao.

WEEKLY UPDATE.

Mon:
Maths Paper 1.....
THEN ABSOLUTE FREEDOM.

Tuesday and Wednesday we spent either slacking at home, going out with friends....etc.

We only got back on Thursday, and my hands turned black from sorting out the newspapers.
We got out test papers back, over Thu and Fri.

(Personally i didn't do so well, oops,)

So, another uneventful week.....oh well.

AT LEAST THE EXAMS ARE OVEEEERRRR.

And we are all definitely insane.

Omg omg...
I want to play WATER BOMB during the class outing !
It would be super duper extremely FUNNN playing with onefourians! i guess, lol. Filll the bottle with water and pour it on somebody, or if you have the kind of Nike bottle that can be used to spray... heheheh.;DDD Its better than using balloons and throw it on somebody, which is troublesome , waste of plastics and most importantly, it may hurt someone.... XD

Okay, okay? Everybody agree?

But not sure if there's place for us to play at east coast park, we need a big area, like the schl's parade square.... and free of other ppl... Or shall we go other places when we play water bomb? , Ppl please give suggestionssssss...

This Week Is Possibly The Most Boring Week So Far.

Because we have only had exams and nothing else.

So no class and few opportunities to perform stupid/funny/idiotic stunts.

Fabulous.

ANYWAY

And on Monday, the holiday in lieu of Vesak Day, it was very obvious that Eddy and I were bored out of our wits.

We spoke of Channel 8 dramas, our crazy classroom soap operas and came up with PATHETIC WEIRD STORY WHICH IS REALLY QUITE FUN TO WRITE.

Fun to write is only in my personal opinion.

And it's not so much a story as it is a manifestation of insanity.

I took this quiz on Facebook about how well I knew AMKSS(I think some of you might have done so too) and one of the questions was:

Is the last option not hilarious? I think it would be a very good punishment, coz it's so UNNERVING.

Mundane Monday:

Temperature taking, and me having to record temperatures down. My sanity has been severely damaged.

Home Econs.

You really honestly do not need to know the details, other than that it's a cold case.

Then we had Lit, followed by ICT, then MT, then English. Last period was history, but Miss Lim came in to conduct her extra Geography lesson about maps.

Terrible Tuesday:

Nothing interesting that I can remember, but then again my sanity is questionable.

Lit.

English.

History.

RECESS.

Double Maths, which was SSRP, which was spent checking answers to the test paper.

Double Science, and Mr Sim came in to talk to the class.

After MT, we all had to stay back in class so that Mr Sim could speak to us.

As usual, when I'm nervous, I clean things.

Wacky Wednesday:

TRIPLE PERIOD SSRP.

IS THAT NOT FABULOUS?

No, not really.

We were sitting according to register number, and I got the WORST SEAT IN THE HOUSE.

The Classroom Casanova is sitting next to me.

That is painful enough, not counting that ANDREW THAM WEI QUAN likes to put staplers on my chair.

And I am dying because when Hairuldin and Syahmi want to....talk....to Chonghui(our RCC), they have to do it over my head.

It's killing me.

Twisted Thursday:

EL and CL Paper One.

DAMN.

Nothing eventful, but temperature taking has stopped, since we've gone from ORANGE ALERT to YELLOW ALERT.

Freaky Friday:

Morning assembly. AGAIN.

Where I fanned myself and complained nonstop about the weather to mainly Hui Xian and Wee Sing from 1/5,

But I think whoever had the misfortune to be nearby heard me as well.

We had EL Paper 2 and Science.

Then we from Normal Chinese had our LC.

REMINDERS:

-Monday is holiday in lieu of Vesak Day.

-The paper on Tuesday is History & Lit.

-Wednesday no need to go to school, stay home and revise.

-Thursday is Geography and NCL(normal chinese language) paper 2. PLEASE BRING CALCULATOR, STRING & PROTRACTOR.

-Maths papers on Friday and the following Monday, so BRING YOUR CALCULATOR OR ELSE MUST BORROW FROM BOOKSHOP AUNTIE AGAIN.

Class outing assumed to be on 4th June, in which I will not make it if it's in the morning coz of Infocomm Training.

WE ARE OFFICIALLY INSANE PEOPLE.

No, not really.

Weekly update.....

MONDAY:
Let's see...Home Econs was first period, and Mrs Sim told us lots of stories about her youth. Our reaction to almost everything is to LAUGH.
Then was recess, then Literature.
Following Lit, ICT.
As...Owen, was it? always says,
"MR WONG! LOLLIPOP!"
He still owes us lollipops.
Chinese after ICT, then English. Following English, we had Geography.
Right now I can't remember anything particularly entertaining.

TUES
During Morning Assembly......
Temperature-taking BEGINS.
Lit first period, followed by English, History, recess, double Math, double Science and then Chinese.
After the last period, we went to the hall for a talk by a radio station. What was it, 93.3? or 93.1?
Whatever.
It wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be.

WED
Checking of thermometers.
IAP.
Dance presentation, music practical test.
I think I failed my practical, but that's just me worrying unnecessarily.
As for dance, I think my group pulled off the best we could, so no big worry.
Recess.
Maths.
English.
ASSEMBLY.
Then we were supposed to have chinese oral.
But now it's postponed AGAIN.
'wa biang eh'.

THU
There was a cockroach in class early that morning.
Tian Ci and I killed it with combined efforts of smacking and drowning in water.
THE BOYS WHO WERE IN CLASS AT THAT TIME, YOU'RE ALL WIMPS.

Lessons were as normal, we had temperature taking.
And as usual, there are some who never bring thermometer.....

Friday is May Day(Labour Day) as well as ANDREW THAM WEI QUAN'S birthday.
(He's still rubbing in the Junior Show lunch thing.)

Some class stuff:

Syahmi is the Classroom Casanova.
At the moment, as during Science lessons, he complains of not being able to see properly.
So Mrs Veda put in bump-smack right in between Wan Rou & Pei Yi.
But then, since the Science periods are double, he moved his table to the front, sat next to Wan Rou, then told Pei Yi
"Next period I sit with you, ok?"
Then Mrs Veda said that our class has a Romeo.

Any other class has a Romeo/Casanova?

I can't say a 'Don Juan', coz I think that term refers to an old man.....

Yes, I know I didn't blog last week, so sorry.
At least Wendy, WEI and some others blogged as well.

And the 'People & Their Stupid Nicknames' section is getting messy. Wendy, if got time I will discuss with you how to clean up the messiness.

MONDAY:
Let's see...Monday was normal, Home Econs double period, then Lit, then ICT is also a double-period....followed by MT, English and History.
And I 'kena' last minute go for Junior Show. I stayed back until SIX FORTY THREE (i still remember) to finish up my presentation.
Veeery tired.

TUESDAY:
No morning assembly, thanks to the glorious RAIN.
First period is Lit.
Then English.
History was before recess.
After recess we had Maths. We went to Comp Lab to do an Algebra quiz.
After Maths, we had science.
Last period was MT..
Then I went for Junior Show, with Elynn, Clara, Mei Choo & Wan Rou.. And I didn't have my lunch on that day, coz we must be in the InnoTech room by 2.15PM and class ends at 2.10PM.
Stupid Andrew, you just had to rub it in, right?

Morning assembly we read newspapers. My article on the AMKsian Family Day was published. (:
Then Mr Siva say all Class Chairpersons must always sit in front. I will complain no end.
Project Work, then English, followed by Maths. Then we had recess. Following that was MT, then double Science.
We went to science lab, so interesting.
PE was done under THE BLAZING HOT SUN.
I hate this warm weather.

FRI:
The shortest and best day of the week.
Morning assembly nearly killed me. And I complained about the warm weather whilst fanning myself with my chinese vocab book.
Then we had Class Interaction.
The lessons were double Chinese, VE, recess(not really a lesson), Geography, Maths, and finally Science.
Some of the class had CL Oral, but mine was postponed to next Wed.

Yeah, so....
Funny Fact:
In the row farthest from the door, we have 3 injured people.
Mavis, who fell down and injured her knee.
Shu Yuan, who injured his elbow somehow.
And then
Yong Kang, who injured his hand when he fell down while running away from Wendy, who was trying to wallop him for being rude.

To quote(was it Owen who said it?), "One fight with ball, the other fight with girl."

Anyway, MYE coming soon, everyone, study hard and try your best!

Yeah, so the week has gone by with the SC elections.

for becoming members of the SC! They're now on probation, but I think they'll all make it and become full-fledged Student Councillors.

Speaking of which, 3 of the Class Committee people are now on SC probation. If they do become proper SC members, they will have to quit the Class Comm, right?

So that means we lose a EA, a CDP Chairperson & a Deputy Chairperson.

THAT'S THREE OUTTA SIX.

Ack.

Well anyway, the reminders:

*NAPFA 2.4km run on Tuesday. Be at the foyer at 3.45pm or else.
*Do all the homework.
*Mrs Veda will be coming on Tuesday. I've heard conflicting stories about her, but anyway, let's give her a warm welcome and be angels on Tuesday. After that, we can go back to having horns.

I trained for my 2.4km today, and my legs hurt.

AMKsian Family Day

Hey everyone!
For those who were at the Family Day, we sure hope you had lots of fun!
And those who missed it...well, here are the updates!

I wasn't in school with the rest of the class, to take the bus to East Coast and back, so whatever insanity took place when I wasn't around I have NO IDEA.

This is my account of the day. Of course, we had 'free & easy' after the sandcastle building, so I really have no idea what the rest of the class is up to when I'm busy doing whatever I was doing at the event.

My brothers joined in the fun, well, they joined in the sandcastle building.

When the boys saw those two monsters(aka my brothers), they tried to see if Owen was taller or shorter than them.Thank god he was taller than them, it'd be royally embarrassing if it turned out that he was shorter than them.When Brandon went with Luo Zhi to collect water, after filling the bucket, he ran off, leaving Luo Zhi with the bucket.Ahahahahahhhh.Then when we were building the castles, Shuyuan couldn't lift up the mould. He tried several times, but he couldn't do it.Luo Zhi tried once, and succeeded.

Man, talk about weak and girly. (He's gonna kill me for this)

Brandon and Matthew(my brothers) spent more time with Luo Zhi and Sherman. Who were both very nice and accomodative.We built CIVILISATIONS.When I went to collect water, I got splashed by the waves. I whined a bit about my wet shorts, and Hairuldin asked me, "Human or nature?"The answer was Nature, and he recounted how he got splashed while collecting water as well.

After the sand-castle building, we had a little picnic, where the amount of junk food was obscene. At least there were nuggets, chee cheong fun, mee siam and other edible goodies.I ran around doing some Infocomm work(hunting people down for quotes), and I walked around with Eddy for a bit. Then Miss Chan and I shared the price of a bike.I rode the first 1/2 hour, she took the next.(:I cycled together with Luo Zhi, and it was so wonderful. The sun, the sand, the wind.....we all had a blast.Hairuldin tried to run me down with his bike. When we gathered back at the picnic area, I tried walloped him,.Then we cleared up. There was a lot of junk food left over.Syahmi helped himself to the Wang wang biscuits, the Chipster Potato Chips and some sweets. He stuffed them into his bag when the teachers were not looking. He should have made sure that I wasn't looking.

Meeeeehhhh.
I went off to the park with four packs of Doritos.
I came back with
-3 packs of Doritos
-1 box of chocolate cake
-1 pack of sweets
-1 pack of biscuits
AHAHAHAHHH.
While taking a photo of the entire school at the structure, I was sitting with the boys. It was scorching hot.Hairuldin kept blowing into my ear. Feh.After saying bye to the class, I headed home.
AMKsian Family Day was really fun.
